Projects

A project is a workspace — the unit that holds your team, your settings, your company details and your branding. You can belong to several projects and switch between them. From the projects list you open one and find its overview, which links to the pages where you edit its information, its company details, and its icon and logos.

Before you start — Anyone signed in can create a project. Editing a project's settings, company details or appearance requires being its owner.

Create a project

  1. Open the projects list, then click New project.
  2. On Create a new project, fill in:
  1. Click Save.

The project is created and a confirmation is emailed to you. From the dashboard, the Project activation section then guides you through giving it a name, a description and activating it.

Open a project's overview

The overview is the home page of a project — a summary of its identity, its company details, its appearance and its verification status.

  1. Open the projects list, then click your project's name.
  2. The overview shows four cards:

Edit project information

The Project Information page covers the basic information shown on the overview — name and description.

  1. Open the project's overview, then click Edit the information on the Project card.
  2. On Project Information, change the Project name and Description (one or two sentences).
  3. Click Save.

You'll see Changes saved successfully.

Fill in company details

The Company Legal Information page collects the legal identity of the entity that operates the project.

  1. Open the project's overview, then click Modify the information on the Company card.
  2. On Company Information, fill in:
  1. On Company Address, fill in:
  1. Click Save.

Important — The Company Name must match the one registered against your Registration Number exactly.

Note — Some projects get one extra list on Company Address, between Address Line 2 and Postal Code, for the administrative subdivision — Emirate for the United Arab Emirates, Province for Canada, State for the United States. It starts on Not defined; open it and pick yours. The list appears only when the Country you chose when you created the project has subdivisions (52 do; France and the United Kingdom, for example, don't), and it is that country — not the Country of the address above — that decides it.

Note — These company and address details are your billing identity. When you check out to pay for the project, the payment page opens pre-filled with them, so you don't have to retype your name, address and country. Keeping them accurate means the checkout is one step shorter.

Customise the project icon

The Modify the icon page sets everything that represents your project visually: the two colours of the small icon built from its initials, and the two logo images used wherever a full logo fits.

  1. Open the project's overview, then click Edit on the Appearance card.
  2. On Edit the icon, enter the Background color and the Text color. Each takes a hex value; the leading # is printed for you, so type only the six characters.
  3. Optionally choose a Left-aligned rectangular logo and a Square logo from the images already in your media library.
  4. Click Save.

The new icon is applied right away, visible everywhere the project name is shown.

Note — The two logo fields are pickers, not upload boxes: Select an image from the CDN list below. Click the field to open the list, or start typing to filter it. To add an image that isn't there yet, use the Send a new image link beside the list, then come back and pick it.

Tip — The page prints the size each logo is used at — Recommended format: 936×192 px for the rectangular one and Recommended format: 512×512 px for the square one. Matching them keeps the logo sharp and stops it being cropped.

Check whether your project is verified

A verified project is one whose company details have been checked by the people who run your platform. The Verifications card on the overview tells you where your project stands.

  1. Open the projects list, then click your project's name.
  2. On the overview, read the Verifications card:
  1. Read the line below the status: Last check: followed by the date of the

most recent check, or Last check: not defined if the project has never been checked.

Note — You can't start a verification from your workspace: only an administrator of the platform can mark a project verified, and the date is set when they do. If your project stays unverified, make sure its company details above are complete and accurate, then contact your platform's support.
